I hate Mondays!? This stood out to me because in my mind, how could this child possibly know that it's Monday? Or know what we refer to "Struggle Bus Monday" mean? Every day for them is Monday, everyday is a struggle. For us, we rush through the week awaiting the weekend where we are free to relax and have fun. For them there is no time to relax and take a break. Everyday is simply the same. The real question is, what gives me the right to say I hate Mondays every week when there are people out here in the world that live the way these children live every single day. Wearing a t-shirt that says I hate Monday's just doesn't make sense.
