Pop culture is part of everyone daily lives, and it have always been for centuries. It is on the T.V. in the morning when we are watching the news. It can be when we’re on our phone looking through the latest trends or the newest app. It is basically everywhere. Not only that, pop culture is constantly evolving. It can either be positive or negative depending on your perspectives. Individuals interprets the idea of pop culture differently. For example, in Kanye West and Future song “I Won,” the idea of it is basically seeing women as trophies and collecting a lot makes you a winner. Not only that, Future released a video game that let you throw gold chains at woman in bikini to turn them into actual trophies. Many people would see the song and videogame as a way of objectifying women; however, other would just plainly see it as humor. Although, there are a handful of negative influences out there, many influences our lives positively. One positive influence would be the expansion of technologies we see through the media. With technologies constant evolving, United States became the highest tech country. Not only that, the expansion of technologies, such as Google, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat and so on, had connect people all over the world. Even when they are hundreds and thousands miles away. In the end, pop culture will continue to change and impact people lives. It all depend on your perspective.
